About
Norio (Nori) Yamada is the owner and CEO of Hair by Nori and works as an independent hair stylist offering services inside Salon Republic in Torrance. He began his career as a hair stylist in Tokyo, graduated from Yamano College of Aesthetics in 2006, and worked in Tokyo for about four years before moving to the United States in 2010.
After the move he spent about three years at hair salons in the US, including Yoshi Hair Studio in Beverly Hills, California. Several clients have had him cut their hair for years, and he has been their stylist for deep conditioning treatments.
His work covers haircuts, color, and chemical services. He is especially strong with color.
