About
Norah Clair Gourlay founded Norah Clair Aesthetics and is clinical director at SkinSpirit's Georgetown location. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS), and she serves on SkinSpirit's Medical Advisory Board. Over 20 years of clinical nursing have included managing the cardiac surgery operating room department at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Her schooling includes an associate degree in nursing from Montgomery College, a master's in nursing administration from George Mason University, and a post-graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program at George Washington University. Botox and dermal filler training came through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She has also completed advanced injection technique training from several manufacturers and aesthetic laser training across a range of devices. Her nurse practitioner license is held in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. Her work includes neuromodulators, injectable fillers, laser resurfacing and intense pulse light, plus microneedling, radiofrequency and ultrasound contouring, skin tightening and fat reduction. She also works in laser hair removal, platelet-rich plasma, chemical peels and medical-grade skincare, with women and men from the Washington, DC region. She belongs to the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
