Nitin J. Engineer

Nitin J. Engineer founded Engineered Aesthetics Plastic Surgery Institute and serves as its founder, CEO and principal surgeon. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board-certified in general surgery and in hand and microvascular surgery; he is also board-eligible in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He describes his practice as aesthetic, reconstructive, hand and microvascular surgery.

His training began at Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in French in 1996 and a Doctor of Medicine in 2000. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Washington in Seattle, a general surgery residency at Southern Illinois University, and a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship there in 2007. He returned to the University of Louisville in 2016 for plastic and reconstructive surgery training, completing it in October 2019. After his hand fellowship he served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

He moved his practice to Las Vegas in 2009 and built EXTREMICURE Hand Center, then closed his Henderson hand surgery practice in 2016. His surgical interests include rhinoplasty, facelift and breast procedures, and he performs body contouring, mommy makeover procedures and cosmetic surgery for men, including hair transplantation. He also offers neuromodulator injections, hyaluronic acid fillers, Sculptra, chemical peels, laser therapy and skin rejuvenation products. He has lectured on facelift, hand conditions and liposuction, and has co-authored peer-reviewed research.

He has received the Clinical Excellence Award in 2019, Vitals.com Compassionate Doctor and Patients' Choice recognitions in several years from 2014 to 2018, an On-Time and Promptness Award in 2018, and a Top Doctor of Southern Nevada designation in 2014. He is an active member of the ACS, ASSH, AAHS, ASPN and ASRM and a candidate member of the ASPS and ASAPS.
