About
Nita Wooten is the owner and master stylist at Snobz of Houston Hair Boutique. She moved to Atlanta in 2002 to work with beauty industry names, and while there she learned custom color, silk press techniques and designer cuts. She worked as Lead Technician for Hicks International while traveling on platform work.
In 2009 she opened Snobz of Atlanta Hair Boutique and lived in Atlanta for about ten years under that name before buying Snobz of Houston in 2016. She now works as a platform artist, presenting product knowledge at hair shows around the country, and she taught at the Bronner Brothers Hair Show platform for several years.
She specializes in silk press and in Silk Infusion for natural hair. She also offers continuing education hours to fellow stylists. Clients of all hair textures are welcome, with a focus on African American clients, and she makes product and service recommendations based on each client's lifestyle, profession and hair goals.
