About
Nisa Nicole owns Nisa Nicole Makeup Artistry and works as its makeup artist. She has been in the makeup business for more than 15 years and became a familiar name in the Austin beauty industry in the early 2000s, after earlier work as a makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics and as a portrait artist at Disney World. Her work spans bridal makeup, on-set and production makeup for videos, commercials, conventions, stage presentations, runway and styled shoots, headshots, senior portraits, special occasions, and editorial and costume makeup. She has worked with celebrities, clothing labels, directors, producers, music festivals, corporations and magazines, and she has made up hundreds of brides. Her looks are built on color theory, an understanding of hues and value, and visual face mapping. On creative shoots and events she acts as a collaborator, covering work from costume makeup to the last piece of a project's concept. She keeps every job punctual, discreet and organized, and travels to clients anywhere in the world.
