About
Nina Christmas owns the training salon that bears her name, where she works as lead stylist and instructor. She has been licensed as a cosmetologist since 2003 and brings more than 30 years of hands-on salon experience. Earlier she owned and ran salons in Chicago and Atlanta. Previously she served as Lead Stylist and Creative Director at Huetiful Salon, and she launched the training salon after that work. Her specialties are natural hair care, silk press techniques and scalp detox services. Her clients are African American women who value quality and precision. She is a Platinum Icon platform artist with Naitcole Michelle International and has competed in Bronner Brothers Beauty Show competitions in Atlanta, where she placed. She has taught at Premiere Beauty Show, International Beauty Show, Bronner Brothers Hair Show and America's Beauty Show in Chicago. She has trained thousands of students through beauty school instruction and continuing education. Over a decade as a licensed cosmetology instructor, she has developed and run training programs that pair technical skills with client communication and business management. Her expertise covers business strategy, workforce development and educational leadership. Through AFIX Consult LLC she advises salon owners and stylists on mindset coaching, business strategy and industry challenges.
