Nikki Layne

Nikki Layne owns Hair by Nikki Layne and works as a hair extension specialist based in Delray Beach, Florida. She is a Master Extensionist and has almost a decade of experience in hair extensions. Her specialties are extensions and extension education, and she created a signature sew-in method she has used for more than 500 installations. She studied at the Hair Design Institute and holds a range of hair extension certifications. She is certified in six hair extension methods and is one of a handful of stylists in the country certified to apply the Replica Scalp method. She has worked for multiple hair extension companies and performed as a platform artist on the main stage. She now freelances as a platform artist and as a cosmetology instructor. Her work has been published in Indie Stylist Magazine and Modern Salon, and she is recognized as one of the top performing stylists in her company. She was a six-figure stylist for the last five years. She is a co-founder of XO Hair Pro, a collaboration offering coaching and education to stylists, and she has created her own extension education and coaching platform.
