Nik Rana, MD

He founded the practice and is a facial plastic surgeon certified by two boards, with roughly ten years of work in facial cosmetic and plastic surgery. His caseload spans procedures on the face, neck, nose and eyes, and covers both surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetics. He also oversees the med spa.

He completed a cosmetic facial plastic surgery fellowship with Dr. Louis DeJoseph, based at Premier Image Cosmetic and Laser Surgery, which is located in Atlanta, Georgia. His head and neck surgical residency was at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and he spent time at MD Anderson Cancer Center during it. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, graduating magna cum laude and being inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. During training he was a clinical instructor in the Emory University otolaryngology department and cared for veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Atlanta. He won first place in resident research from the Texas Medical Association and from the Byron Bailey Surgical Society. His undergraduate degrees, in Biology and Business Administration, came from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, summa cum laude.

He designed the Brilliant Eyelid Lift as a signature non-surgical procedure. He performs fractional CO2 laser resurfacing. He also offers RF microneedling at the McKinney med spa.

Botox is injected by him or by a practitioner working under his direct oversight. The dose is set at the consultation, after he has evaluated the facial muscles by hand. He has treated thousands of patients with injectable treatments.
