Nicole Tompkins co-owns Eden Studios in Edina, Minnesota, and owns Bella Niche, which is housed there. She has worked in the salon industry since 1999, beginning as a color specialist with Rocco Altobelli.
In 2005 she became lead colorist and educator with EQ Life, and in 2007 she added women's cutting to her menu. In 2009 she opened La Bella Mia Hair Studio. She started offering alternative hair services in 2015 and later renamed her business Bella Niche to focus on them.
Her main focus is alternative hair services, including options for women dealing with chemotherapy-related hair loss, alopecia and hereditary thinning. She also works as a color specialist and stylist.
