Nicole Thompson

Nicole Thompson is the owner and artist behind Nikki, working in both makeup and hair on and for all textures and tones. She is based in Las Vegas, has more than 18 years of professional beauty experience and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2007. She holds current cosmetology licenses in Nevada, California and New York.

Her training started at The San Diego Beauty Academy, and she completed an apprenticeship under Kevia Grant, owner of Hair Phenatiks in San Diego, California. She has continued her education in both makeup and hair, has taken artistry masterclasses with Romero Jennings, Director of Makeup Artistry at MAC Cosmetics, and holds a Pravana Chromasilk Hair Color Certification and MAC Cosmetics Artistry certification.

Her career includes freelance artistry for MAC Cosmetics at MAC PRO Robertson in Los Angeles from 2015 and becoming a permanent MAC artist in 2016. She served as a MAC Viva Glam Ambassador and became a MAC Product Specialist in mid-2017. She has worked MAC events including the Snow Ball and the Life Is Beautiful festival with The House of YES! New York in 2019, and has worked in fast-paced settings such as New York Fashion Week. In 2016 she also joined the hairstylist team at the Robert Cromeans Paul Mitchell Walk-In salon in Las Vegas.
