Nicole Bommarito

Nicole Bommarito works as a Color Specialist and Color Correction Specialist at Bleach in Royal Oak. She specializes in fusion hair extensions and color. She began her career in hairdressing 25 years ago. She trained at the Michigan College of Beauty in Troy, Michigan, and studied fine arts at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.

She has worked nationally, in Boston, Phoenix, Las Vegas, South Beach and Chicago. Her work has appeared in the beauty sections of Gothic Beauty magazine, Inspire and Real Detroit Weekly. She has styled professional wrestlers Alex Shelley, Chris Sabon and Zach Gowen of TNA on Spike Television. In Detroit she has collaborated with Ritual on hair work for the bands Lords of Acid and Lit.

Her event work includes Hairball 07 at the Royal Oak Music Theater, where she created hairstyles and costuming for charity, and she was selected as a model for the Hairball 08 advertising. She won Most Original at Hairball 08. Her color and extension work was featured in photo shoots for Passion magazine, a national and international hair style book, in Chicago. Real Detroit Weekly named her Hair Stylist of the Year in 2009, and in February 2009 she was the featured extension stylist on hairextensionguide.com.
