Nick works as a barber at K2 Salon & Spa, where he cuts hair alongside Ken. He started cutting hair at 15 under his father's training, and he has also worked at People's Barber and The Shop - Berkeley. He studied economics and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley. Before returning to the family business full time, he spent five years in the tech industry. His specialties are fades, tapers, beard trims and contemporary men's cuts, including Asian men's fades such as skin fades and textured crops. A short clipper cut or a fade with scissor work on top is listed at 30 minutes for $50, and a longer all-over scissor cut is 60 minutes for $65. A beard trim takes 30 minutes and costs $20. A buzz using one or two guards with a line-up is 15 minutes for $25, and fades are charged at the standard short-cut rate.
