Nick Meinzer

Nick is a hairstylist at a salon in Oakland, CA. Training began at a beauty college in Northern California in 1990, and he is certified in PivotPoint and Redken SES.

Early work was as a wig stylist for productions while he was still in school at Santa Rosa Junior College, Saint Mary's College and San Jose State College. After graduating he assisted at a salon in Union Square, San Francisco, and continued learning there and for several years afterward. He served as a Salon Educational Partner for Pativa, now a division of ISO. His work has been featured in a national magazine representing Sorbie, and he took part in a hair and fashion show representing L'anza and Blue Marlin, which a salon trade magazine profiled.

His specialties are point cutting, dry cutting, razor cutting, texture techniques, fades and vintage style cuts. He works with every hair texture, from bone straight to tight curls, and welcomes clients of all genders and walks of life.
