Nick Estep owns The Beacon Salon, which he founded. His career has taken him across Houston, Austin and New York City. Brands he has worked with and taught for include Goldwell, Joico, Phyto, Laura Mercier, Yves Saint Laurent and M.A.C. Cosmetics. He has also trained beauty advisors in several states for retailers including Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Ulta, Blue Mercury, Macy's and Dillard's. He sees hair and makeup as something that can shift how a client feels about themselves, and he likes being involved through the course of a client's day.
