Nicholas Walker, MD

Nicholas Walker, MD, is a board certified plastic surgeon with Walker Plastic Surgery in Frisco, Texas. He completed an undergraduate degree with honors at Nicholls State University, studying biology and chemistry. He then trained at Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated at the top of his medical school class. His plastic surgery residency took place at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, with training that included pediatric craniofacial surgery, hand surgery and cosmetic surgery. That residency ranked in the top 98th percentile nationally for procedures performed that year. He later earned board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. During residency he joined medical missions abroad, caring for young burn patients and people living with cleft and craniofacial conditions. Through Operation Smile he holds international credentials as a burn surgeon, delivering and teaching advanced burn treatment abroad. His published papers cover reconstructive breast procedures, hand operations, aesthetic surgery, skin cancers, face reconstruction, wound healing, and reconstructing burns.
