About
Nicck Townsend owns the salon and works as its brow artist. He is also a business owner, speaker and author. He first travelled between Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York offering concierge brow services, then opened his own salon in July 2015. He was the first male esthetician licensed in Pennsylvania, in 2005.
Philadelphia Magazine included him in its Best of Philly spotlight in 2008 and 2013, and Marie Claire and Insider featured him in 2016. That year he was named Beauty Director for bridal designer Sarah Nouri's collection. His brow work has appeared in print and television projects, at special events and for bridal parties. Clients have travelled to him from across the U.S. and from countries including Germany and Japan.
His first seminar, the Precision Brow Seminar, took place in May 2017. He has spoken at industry events including ICES, Premiere Show Group, IBS, PBA and ISSE. He runs private one-on-one brow training and online courses, among them the Six Figure Brow Masterclass, and is writing a book to go with it. After eight years of research he developed Tresselix, and since 2016 he has created 35 consumer products. In 2019 he set up a professional line that includes an eyebrow and eyelash dye. His goal is to help clients feel confident in their natural brows.
