Neekan Rivera founded Aère Aesthetics, where she is the owner and works as a physician assistant (PA-C). She holds a Bachelor's in Health Sciences, cum laude, from the University of Miami (2009) and a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies, also cum laude, from George Washington University. Her path ran through internal medicine in Denver, then a cosmetic dermatology clinic in Los Angeles, before she set up an independent practice in Beverly Hills. Her background covers clinical and cosmetic dermatology, and she has focused on cosmetic work since 2013. Full-facial rejuvenation is the core of her practice, supported by skin resurfacing, microneedling, PDO threads, scar revision and skincare. She continues to pursue advanced training. Rivera trains clinicians for Allergan Medical Institute, Galderma and PDO Mint Threads, and is a national trainer for Allergan and Galderma. She was among a small group of trainers invited to sit on Allergan's West Coast Advisory Board, and the site says she is one of Allergan's most requested trainers and among the most requested in the Los Angeles area. Her teaching includes national courses, keynote presentations and mentoring of aesthetic providers, and can be booked through the website.
