Nathan Vengalil, MD

Nathan Vengalil is a board-certified dermatologist at Tower Dermatology in Los Angeles, where his work covers medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He holds the MD and FAAD credentials. He received the William B. Taylor Dermatology Clinical Science Award and is named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. His undergraduate training was at Wayne State University, where he earned a degree in Honors Economics and University Studies with a minor in Biology, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to the University of Michigan Medical School, then spent a transitional year at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, serving as Chief Resident. He finished his dermatology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, again as Chief Resident. He has written peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, including work on adverse reactions to cosmetic injectables and on complex inpatient dermatology cases. He has given talks at national and regional conferences and has built dermatology education programs aimed at teenagers.
