Nathan Brouillette

Nathan Brouillette is a holistic cosmetologist and scalp specialist who works from room 139 at the Mattison Avenue Salon Suites location in Highland Village. He has 20 years of experience as a hairstylist and has completed extensive continuing education. He is also a functional medicine certified health coach and works as a Quantum Health Coach.

His work centers on scalp health and hair loss, and he also does color, including balayage, foilage, color melting, low lighting, lived-in color and precision cuts for any texture. Before any chemical service, he talks through a client's hair history, texture and scalp health. He starts with the scalp, checks strands for moisture, protein or balance with a wet stretch test, and then tailors a haircare routine to each client.

He considers nutrition, stress, gut health, hormones and lifestyle alongside haircare, and he welcomes health-conscious men and women as well as curly-haired clients. He also writes posts for the salon's holistic hair blog.
