Natalee Shiota

Natalee Shiota owns The Works by Natalee and works as its esthetician. She spent 12 years in the dental field before becoming an esthetician, and later went back to school to study esthetics. She trained with Lady Peng.

Her work includes Brazilian waxing, for which she has nearly four years of focused waxing experience, along with brow waxing, Korean facials and Korean lash lifts. She has also worked in permanent makeup. Her Korean skincare work draws on Korean techniques, and she applies those methods to both facials and lash lifts.

She uses hard or soft wax depending on each client's skin sensitivity and hair texture, and she uses a pain-minimizing technique in every appointment while explaining each step before she does it. Brows are shaped around each client's natural arch and growth pattern, and each lash lift is adjusted for shield size, solution timing and curl direction.
