Nancy Greer Weber

Nancy Greer Weber owns and founded Lumine Salon, where she serves as creative director and also works as a stylist. She has worked in hair since 2002. Her weekly schedule has her at the Waldo location on Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and at the Crossroads location on Fridays, 12 to 5. Her hourly rate is $225. Outside the salon she works as a global educator for R+CO. On the cutting side she offers straight razor shags, wolf cuts, French bobs, Italian bobs, dry cuts and transformation cuts, for hair ranging from very fine straight to tightly coiled curls. Her color work includes balayage, sun-kissed looks, old money blonde and brunette, bold reds and curly color, and she aims to make curly color stand out. She believes hair should suit the person wearing it and be shaped around them, and she likes getting to know clients over time. According to the salon, clients say her cuts have the best grow-out in the world. Her training includes master styling at Bumble and Bumble in New York (2009) and classic cutting at Vidal Sassoon in Chicago (2010). She learned balayage more than ten years ago from the lead hair colorist at Bumble and Bumble, and completes at least 80 hours of training each year. Recognitions include international finalist at the IBI Awards (December 2021), creative director for the First Place Artistic Team of the Year at the Midwest Hairstyling Awards (September 2021), and top 5 finalist in the U.S.A. at the Goldwell Color Zoom (2019).
