About
Nancy Akbari is the Master PMU Artist and Trainer at Comprehensive Aesthetix. She founded Cosmetics by Banou and Banou Academy in Beverly Hills and has more than 25 years of experience, including thousands of microblading procedures.
Her work centers on permanent makeup that is safe for melanin-rich skin and on customized, hyper-realistic brows. She is certified in advanced permanent makeup techniques with a focus on melanin-safe protocols.
A session starts with a consultation to map brow shape, symmetry and pigment selection. For clients with very oily or sensitive skin, she may recommend microshading or ombré brows instead. Pigments are medical-grade, organic and hypoallergenic, and tools are sterilized and single-use.
