About
Nana Mensah owns Estar and serves as its lead aesthetic nurse practitioner. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who holds national certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Shenandoah University and a Master of Nursing in the family nurse practitioner track (FNP-MSN) at Simmons University. Before opening Estar, she worked as a nurse practitioner at Serenity Zone MedSpa. Her earlier nursing roles include working as a registered nurse with neuroscience patients and with kidney and pancreas transplant recipients at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and practicing at a functional medicine clinic in Columbia, Maryland. The wider nursing background includes telemetry, intermediate care, IV home infusion and home care. Her advanced training covers neurotoxins, dermal fillers, energy-based aesthetic devices, and nonsurgical procedures such as PDO threads, liquid facelifts and body contouring. She is a faculty member at Aerolase, where she teaches other professionals, and serves as an aesthetics instructor at Genesis Aesthetics Training Center.
