About
Myisha Headen founded My Hair Spot. She has worked in the DMV for more than ten years, cutting, coloring and styling hair, and her start in beauty came in middle school with a summer job at a salon in Largo, Maryland.
Her earlier career included nine years in the DMV non-profit sector, where she built relationships with members and stakeholders. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas, and a cosmetology certification from the Paul Mitchell Beauty School at Tyson's Corner, obtained in 2017.
Collaborations with salons and stylists, including Hair Cuttery, Covered Care Hairloss Center and Galaxy Beauty Palace, have helped her build additional haircare skills.
