Ms. Cassie owns Da Loc Shop in Chicago and works as its stylist. She has more than 30 years of experience in hair. She began as a shampoo assistant at neighborhood salons, later worked in the corporate world for a period while keeping hair work going on the side, and in the early 2000s decided to pursue hair full time. Her training includes study at Truman College, and she is a self-taught natural hair stylist. Her focus is natural hair care for dreadlocks.
