Monte Durham

Monte Durham founded Salon Monte and began his style career as a personal shopper for Saks, Neiman Marcus and Woodward & Lothrop. He trained at Graham Webb Academy International Academy of Hair and was invited to complete platform styling training at Graham Webb Academy U.K. He then worked as a hair stylist at the Saks Salon.

He joined Elizabeth Arden Red Door as Salon Manager and later became its Cultural Trainer, helping to spearhead the opening of Red Door salons across the country. He has also worked as a Washington, D.C.-based bridal image consultant and is known for styling brides.

For over ten years he was Fashion Director on TLC's Say Yes To The Dress Atlanta. His work has appeared in The Washingtonian, Martha Stewart Living and Brides magazine, and he is a regular guest on CNN and Fox. He won the Most Preferred Makeup and Bridal Hairstylist 2000 award from The Washingtonian.
