Misty Wise owns The Glamour Grotto and works as a lash and makeup artist. She entered the beauty industry in 2014 and began freelancing makeup at bodybuilding shows in 2015, initially as a hobby. She expanded into bodybuilding makeup while working full time as a cardiac nurse, and retired from nursing in August 2023 after 15 years to work in beauty full time.
She specializes in bodybuilding competition makeup and holds certifications in airbrush makeup and lash extensions, the most recent of her certifications. She earned an IFBB Pro Card in 2018 and started fitness coaching a few years after turning pro. She co-owns a company that provides spray tanning, makeup and hair services at bodybuilding shows across the southeast.
