Misael Aponte co-owns Salon ChroMA, which he co-founded in 2025 with Crystal Hoover. His title there is Color Visionary, and his specialties are color theory and color itself. He has worked in the hair industry for 36 years. Today he serves as International Color Director for Oligo Professional, following 18 years as a platform artist for Schwarzkopf Professional. He is a globally respected expert colorist and educator. He also founded the Misael Art Academy, an education hub for stylists.
