Mio Hamasaki

Mio Hamasaki practices at Iris Wellness Clinic, where she works as an acupuncturist and herbalist. She is credentialed as DOM, Dipl OM and LAc. Her services span acupuncture, microneedling and herbal medicine. Her academic background includes a Doctorate and a Master of Science, both in Oriental Medicine, earned at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, along with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. She holds board certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed in Virginia by the Virginia Board of Medicine. She aims to offer an evidence-based approach to health and wellness, with high-quality care directed at physical, mental and emotional well-being. Each patient is examined after an intake, and she then develops a treatment plan tailored to that person.
