Mike Padilla

Mike Padilla owns Chroma Studio, where he works as owner, color specialist and stylist. He has several decades in the hair industry, working as an educator, color specialist and stylist in both Tucson and San Francisco. In San Francisco he spent 17 years at upscale salons, overseeing color at Saks Fifth Avenue Salon and at Cinta Salon while also leading education. He then spent many years on the road as an educator and platform artist for Matrix and Logics Inc., teaching color, cutting, styling and product knowledge and training independent educators. Back in Tucson, he taught and ran cosmetology programs that trained educators and young stylists. His specialties include clean color, natural highlights and special effect colors such as vibrant reds, clean and clear blondes, natural-looking grey coverage, and color correction for women and men. He also offers clipper cutting and barber work for men and women.
