About

Mike Montañez has worked in styling, beauty and fashion for 30 years, beginning in Puerto Rico and later building a practice in the Miami market. His runway styling for designers has taken him to Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Miami, and his special projects have reached several Latin American markets. Clients have included the singers Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Enrique and Cristine D'Clario. He has appeared on Univision interviews and at the San Juan Beauty Show, has worked on the show Objetivo Fama and with the cast of Ugly Betty, and has been featured in magazines including MR BLACK, Nocturno, Noctámbulo and Ego. Brands he represents include TIGI Bed Head, Lendan, Goldwell, Paul Mitchell, Kenra, Monat and Alfaparf. He has also collaborated with Carmin Profesional, Gaby Negrón and Eiffel Salon, as well as Bolivar y China Salon, Beaute Salon, Beautiful Salon, Regis Salon, Oleo Salon, Ego Top Salon and Qiu Hall. His training was done with TIGI Bed Head CEO Antonio Moscolo and Yoel Torres at SOHO New York.
