Mikaela Medlin

Mikaela Medlin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) and a co-founder of Bloom, where she leads the Canton clinic and oversees its care. Canton patients may be seen by her or by another team member, depending on the visit. She trained as a family nurse practitioner at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, holds an undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and holds certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Her earlier roles include newborn intensive care, pediatric urgent care at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and adult urgent care.

At Canton she treats patients for hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, IV vitamin therapy, aesthetics, concierge medicine, facials and medical ear piercing. She is one of two providers who check the site's health articles before they are published, and has reviewed pieces on hormone symptoms and on adjusting, pausing or stopping hormone therapy.
