Miguel Canales, MD

Miguel Canales, MD, co-founded Silicon Valley Aesthetic Dermatology and also co-founded Silicon Valley Hair Institute. His medical and surgical education took place at Harvard Medical School and Stanford University Hospital. Professional memberships include the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. He holds 12 patents on robotic hair transplantation. Previously he served as medical director of Restoration Robotics, Inc., which makes the ARTAS Robotic System. He has instructed dermatologists, plastic surgeons and hair restoration surgeons in hair transplantation across the United States, Europe and Latin America, and he consults for aesthetic companies.
