Mignon Lynae

Mignon Lynae is the owner and founder of Carpe Diem Glamour and works as a professional hair stylist and make-up artist based in the Bay Area. She has more than 15 years in the beauty industry across hair, make-up and fashion. She has also worked as a professional dancer on the San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors dance teams.

She earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Brooks College in Long Beach, CA, and trained in hair styling and make-up at Paul Mitchell School in Pleasant Hill, CA. She has taught at several Paul Mitchell schools, currently as a graduate instructor at Paul Mitchell The School East Bay, and previously as a Learning Leader at Paul Mitchell The School San Jose and at SFIEC, a Paul Mitchell partner school. She was also a platform artist with The League of Extraordinary Stylists, teaching hair and make-up across the country, and was co-owner and vice president of The Hair Gym Academy and Salon in Oakland, CA.

Her work has included brands and events such as MTV, Levi Strauss, Walt Disney, Macy's fashion shows and the Black Eyed Peas. Her focus spans hair styling, make-up, wardrobe and fashion styling.
