Mickey Bolek owns Michael Anthony Salon and also works there as a stylist. His career began more than 30 years ago in Florida, and he moved to Washington, DC, in 1991. He has trained other hairstylists in cutting, styling and coloring techniques. His clients include professionals working in Congress, the executive branches, K Street and the entertainment field, as well as longtime Capitol Hill residents. He is an award-winning hairstylist and educator, and his work has been featured in several nationally televised special events. He was voted Best Hair Stylist in DC in the 2022 Washington City Paper readers poll.
