Michelle McDevitt

Michelle McDevitt works as a hair stylist, makeup artist and educator, with over 15 years in the beauty industry. She began professional work at the Polaris Career Center while still in high school, and her first job was at a JC Penney salon. She later worked at a local salon and spa focused on creative cuts, vibrant color, Brazilian blowouts, extensions, and bridal hair and makeup, and took part in creative photoshoots with photographers and local businesses.

Her work took her to New York City, where she worked on set with fashion photographers and models, and then to Redding, California, where she worked in a salon and collaborated on photoshoots for local magazines. She opened C'est La Vie Salon, which offered one-on-one education for hairstylists as well as makeup classes. She now teaches online and in person for Dreamcatchers and Matrix, and is a certified DevaCurl stylist.

She focuses on lived-in color, curly hair, textured cuts, Brazilian blowouts and custom extensions, and works with everyday women and professionals. Clients can book one-on-one sessions or classes to learn how to shape hair and makeup for everyday looks and special occasions.
