Michelle Marie Junion

Michelle Marie Junion is a certified wig and hair extension specialist who owns Salon Extend. She launched her salon and traveling concepts in 1998 and ran Salon Extend in Barrington, Illinois, from 1998 to 2006. She was formerly employed at Harpo Studios in Chicago, Illinois, by Oprah Winfrey. She has owned two salons in total and is now a partner and owner of Salon MMM in Palatine, Illinois. Her training includes certification as a Great Lengths hair extension specialist, in Aqua hand-tied extensions, in Cosmo hair, and in Euro So Cap, plus wig specialist certification through Hair U Wear. She also holds certification in Brazilian Blowout. She was previously a national educator for Great Lengths and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in wigs, added hair, and advanced color and cutting. She is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. Services she offers range from wigs and extensions to thinning-hair solutions, image consulting, total image design, custom color, and precision cutting and styling.
