Michelle Kauffman

Michelle Kauffman is the founder of Polished Rx Skin Couture and works as its Skin Guru. She has more than 28 years of experience in the professional aesthetic industry.

Her background spans several sides of the field. She has served as National Sales Manager and Educator for cosmeceutical companies and has worked in research and development for product development at skincare companies. She also owned a consulting company for medical and esthetic practices for nearly ten years, and has worked as a clinical aesthetician and a professional makeup artist on runway and commercial projects.

She is CIDESCO trained and holds certifications in microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical exfoliation, the Cosmelan depigmentation system, microcurrent facial and body toning, oxygen skin infusion, ultrasonic lifting and infusion, custom body exfoliation, slimming wraps, microdermabrasion and diamond tip microdermabrasion. She also holds certifications in Chinese diagnosis of the skin and reflexology, and has taken UCLA Extension courses on cosmetic ingredients. She focuses on skin treatments and body treatments, and believes ongoing staff training is what delivers the results clients want.
