Dr. Place is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has run a private practice since 1998. Before that she spent about a year as an instructor in plastic surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. Her training includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry with honors from St. Mary's College of California, a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and a surgical internship at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery residencies at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Her practice centers on cosmetic surgery of the face and body, along with breast surgery. Procedures range from facial, eyelid and brow lifts to body contouring, liposuction, tummy tucks, limb lifts, and breast augmentation, reduction and lifts. She also carries out many procedures for men's appearance goals.
