Michelle Buchanan

Michelle Buchanan is a nurse practitioner and co-owner of VIVIFY Plastic Surgery & Medspa in Tampa, where she has served as Director of Nursing and Aesthetic Injector since June 2020 and leads aesthetic medicine at the medspa. She began as a registered nurse in June 2005, working in neuro and surgical ICU at Carraway Hospital, in neuro trauma ICU at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and in interventional radiology on a level one trauma unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she also taught pharmacology to radiology technologist students. After completing nurse practitioner clinical rotations, she worked as a nurse practitioner providing ENT medicine at Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center and internal medicine at Pinnacle Health Group before joining VIVIFY.

Her training includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University, where she graduated with honors. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP and ANCC, a certified master injector, and a certified laser technician, and she holds ACLS and BLS certifications. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society. She has more than 17 years of experience.

Her work centers on neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, lasers, microneedling and peels, with skills in sterile technique and weight loss management. She oversees the medspa's facial rejuvenation services, including Morpheus8, Botox, fillers, IPL and PRP therapy, as well as its health and wellness services, including IV therapy and weight loss treatments. She advocates for the patients she treats in the Tampa area.
