Michele Shermak

Michele Shermak is a board-certified plastic surgeon who practices in Baltimore and Lutherville, Maryland, and has practiced for over two decades. She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and chairs the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Patient Education Committee. She is the author of Body Contouring, a surgical atlas published by McGraw-Hill, and has an upcoming text, Experts in Plastic Surgery, slated for Elsevier publication in 2026. She lectures on body contouring in the United States and internationally and contributes to textbooks and scientific journals. Her specialties center on body contouring, including thigh lifts, and she performs the Mommy Makeover and the Daddy Do-Over, which combine several areas in one surgery.
