Michele L. Cantone founded Southern Aesthetics & Wellness. Her credentials are APRN and FNP-C. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the AANP, with over ten years of advanced practice in hormone replacement, wellness, primary care, integrative medicine and aesthetics. Before she moved into nursing practice, she worked for five years as a registered nurse in high-acuity cardiovascular care. She has also worked in several large medical spas and wellness centers. At Southern, she combines aesthetic and hormone care in Trinity. Her work includes medical weight management and wellness care, and she reviews hormone and wellness concerns, setting out any evaluation or separate treatment steps. Each consultation covers the reason for the visit, past treatments, medications, allergies and the changes a client wants, then moves on to whether a treatment suits them, its likely benefits, risks, alternatives and cost. Before any treatment, she walks through the specific product, what it is for, possible side effects and other options. Afterward, she goes over preparation, aftercare and follow-up.
