Michal Muszynski (Mike)

Michal Muszynski is a Master Scalp Micropigmentation Practitioner and the founder of Magic Ink SMP, with fourteen years in the scalp micropigmentation field and more than ten thousand completed SMP sessions. He served as lead practitioner at Hairline Ink in Chicago for several years before opening Magic Ink SMP in Winnetka under his own name.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and trained in the UK under Paul Clark and Simon Lane. He also completed SMP training in Los Angeles with a company, and he draws on Dot Work, a traditional tattoo technique, in his scalp micropigmentation.

His work covers male pattern baldness, density augmentation, camouflage of scars from FUT procedures, and repair of earlier SMP work that needs correcting. He specializes in the SMP density technique for women's hair loss, teaches that technique to other practitioners, and speaks at industry events. He co-developed Adaptive Trichopigmentation with Dr. Vinay Rawlani. He received a Meeting of the Minds award recognizing him as one of the best SMP artists in America.

He mixes pigment to each patient's hair color and skin tone, designs each hairline around the patient's facial structure and age, and keeps pigment depth tightly controlled. Patients travel to Winnetka from across the United States and abroad to see him, and he travels to the Chicago flagship on the second and third Saturday of each month to see patients there.
