Michael St. Amand, PA

Michael St. Amand, PA, is a certified physician associate on the Knott Street Dermatology team. He holds a biology bachelor's from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and a master's in physician assistant studies from Oregon Health & Science University, where he also completed specialized clinical training in dermatology and plastic surgery. His early career was in general surgery, where he assisted with procedures such as melanoma and lipoma excisions and managed wound care for patients. His focus areas are wound care, melanoma excisions, and education for patients after melanoma surgery. He completed extensive dermatologic training under Dr. Eric Hanson. He is affiliated with the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, the Oregon Society of Dermatology Physician Associates, and the American Academy of Physician Associates.
