Michael Milliken, M.D.

Michael Milliken, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist at Rajan Dermatology. He has extensive training in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, inflammatory skin conditions, hair and scalp diseases, and complex medical dermatologic conditions.

He earned an engineering degree from Virginia Tech, graduating summa cum laude with degrees in engineering and biology. He then completed medical school at the University of Virginia and a master's in public health at Johns Hopkins University. His residencies in internal medicine and dermatology were at the University of Utah, where he was chief resident in the final year of dermatology training.

He completed a two-year clinical research fellowship in psoriasis and received a National Psoriasis Foundation Medical Dermatology Fellowship grant. He remained on the faculty of the University of Utah department of dermatology, took part in more than 35 industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials, and started a clinical center of excellence in hair and scalp disease. He has presented at local, national and international meetings, written a book chapter and published several scientific journal articles.
