Michael Loffredo

Michael Loffredo is a board-certified plastic surgeon who practices at the Plymouth and Hyannis offices, focusing on aesthetic surgery of the breast and body. He earned a magna cum laude degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and then his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha in his junior year. Plastic surgery training took six years at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then spent a year in a cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery fellowship under Dr. Dennis Hammond at the Center for Breast and Body Contouring in Grand Rapids, Michigan, developing body contouring and breast surgery skills. After returning to the Northeast, he set up practice to serve Cape Cod, the South Shore, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and southeastern Massachusetts, starting the practice with a former residency colleague, Seth Jones. With Dr. Hammond he co-authored an article in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery on new breast reduction techniques, and he has presented research at national plastic surgery meetings. Cape and Plymouth Business Magazine, The Plymouth Old Colony Memorial and The Cape Cod Times have reported on that article.
