Michael J. Poss, M.D.

Dr. Michael J. Poss founded the practice and serves as its Medical Director. He is double board-certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management, with more than 25 years of experience treating complex orthopedic and pain conditions. He graduated from Wake Forest University. He has served as president of the Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and still practices at Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center. He oversees regenerative medicine care at the practice and offers bioidentical hormone therapy by placing hormone pellets. Each treatment step is explained clearly, and appointments are unhurried. He was included in Becker's ASC Review's list of 150 Pain Management Physicians to Know, and Life Sciences Review recognized him as a Top 10 Regenerative Medicine Provider.
