Meta is the owner stylist at Root & Ritual and has worked in and around the Boulder area for over 25 years. Alongside that hair career, the background includes extensive care and support work with adults with developmental disabilities.

Study has covered herbalism, Ayurveda, nutrition, nervous system healing and other alternative healing modalities, along with several other certifications in various fields that are not named. Haircare work includes fine or thin hair, where cuts and color add movement while keeping a sense of fullness, along with gray coverage and natural-looking dimensional color. Curly cuts and cuts for hair worn both curly and straight are a specialty, and gender affirming haircare and trauma informed services are offered.

Beyond the chair, healing and energy work includes chakra clearing and balancing, sound healing, energy healing, customized aromatherapy, tarot and oracle card readings, and somatic movement with nervous system healing. Clients who want an edgy new haircut, low maintenance color or chakra balancing are welcome. Continuing education, including online classes and educational videos, keeps the work current.
