Melissa

Melissa owns Radiating Wellness, which grew out of her education. Her schooling covers massage therapy at Healing Hands Institute, esthetics at The NY School of Esthetics, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware, where she focused on health psychology and brain and behavior.

She has completed Gua Sha Facial and Neck Rejuvenation and Gua Sha Body Re-Contouring with Dr Ping Zhang of Nefeli, facial cupping, facial gua sha and dermarolling with Michelle Gellis Manuel, and Gua Sha Facial Fusion and Thai Herbal Poultice with Cecily Braden. She also completed Thai Yoga Massage level 1 with the Lotus Palm School and holds Usui Reiki I and II with Alice Rich.

Her lymphatic drainage training comes from two programs. The Academy of Lymphatic Studies certified her in full body manual lymphatic drainage and post-op manual lymphatic drainage, and MLD Institute International covered Lymphlift of the Head, Neck and Face and Hollywood Med-Style MLD. Her cupping training, through the International Cupping Therapy Association, covers contemporary full body methods and facial cupping rejuvenation.

Her practice centers on organic, plant-based facials and holistic massage, and she also works in warm gemstone therapy, lymphatic drainage, facial gua sha and cupping. Each treatment is shaped around the client's goals and results.
