Melissa Santos-Howard

Melissa Santos-Howard is the owner and a curl specialist at Melo Curl Revival Studio. She specializes in curly hair and natural curl care, and she favors small technique changes over lengthy routines. She helps clients get familiar with their hair so they can handle changes in it. She takes on clients with tender-headed hair, and some clients have fallen asleep while she detangles their curls. She is a licensed cosmetologist, licensed since 2017. Her training includes Arrojo Cosmetology School in NYC. She has worked at The Angels Salon in Elizabeth, NJ, and at Candace Witherspoon Salon in NYC. Her background also includes human resources experience in the non-profit and corporate sectors. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Smith College, with a second major in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies.
